In lieu of adding orange to my color palette, I decided the next inexpensive thing I could do was add some frames to my home. My sweet hubby hates loves all the frames in our home. I may need to join a group for my addiction to collecting picture frames (among the other things I tend to collect ie: scrapbook paper). I can never seem to have enough!
Okay, so back to my post. I didn't take any pictures of the process because I figured any monkey occasional crafter can paint and Mod Podge. So, spray paint (I heart spraypaint), Mod Podge, Preserve and WALA! New frames.
I had the other little frames on hand, so I threw those together too. Love the touch of blue.
Now I just need to play with the balance on my mantle. I may need some suggestions. Oh, and I should actually put pictures in these frames.
Pictures are highly overrated!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know you had a crafty blog so I'm glad you sent the email. And I love all the cute ideas, I wish I was more motivated to craft. Hopefully you will inspire me. :) And I'm a horrible friend, I've been meaning to call you for a long time, we need to get in touch. I'll try this week.
ReplyDeleteVery cute Tasha! I sometimes can be crafty, but nothing like this! You are definately going to inspire me! Everything is super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the orange! Just that little bit adds color without going all retro. Are these frames the wood ones from Michaels?? LOVE THEM! Might have to copy. . .
ReplyDeleteI love it! I do this all the time with scrapbook paper and frames:) Your orange one is my favorite:)
