Sadie's Valentines

I couldn't decide what to do for Sadie's Valentines this year. I think I was a little overwhelmed with the details of her class party. I had looked at so many different ideas for this year but didn't think I had the time for the ones I liked. At the last minute, I found the cutest and most simple idea at Brown Paper Packages Blog
I love her blog, so many great and creative ideas.

These are my version of her idea. I loved it! Thumb-body loves you! How cute!

Sadie used her thumb prints on some of them, but they were a little too small, so mommy helped with her big thumb! We both had fun drawing the legs and arms and faces on the cute little thumb prints. She signed her name on the back of them and we were in business. I made a couple girls with some eyelashes and a hairbow!

Spread Some Love

Just a little V-Day prettiness.

I've seen these coffee filter wreaths all over blogland. I love them and wanted one to hang for different occasions. I didn't want to spend the money on a foam wreath so I used a box.I must have set my sights too high, because my wreath took a lot more filters than had been described. But I wanted it big so i did my best to fill it in.

This is the end product. I love it. i think I'm going to add some color to it for v-day, but I have some ideas on how to change it out for St. Patty's next month too.

XOXO

I love blocks, they're so versatile. They can say whatever you want and be placed just about anywhere in your own personal style.

I got together with a girlfriend the other day and built up my muscles sanding all the blocks down. She was making a set of 3, I made a set of 4 for a friend and a set of 4 for me. FUN FUN!

The first set I made a for a friend. I put LOVE on one side and XOXO on the other, so she could display what she chose.

I had too many LOVE valentine decor, so I made mine the XOXO. I'm thinking I'll add KISS to the reverse side for next year.

Valentine Banner

I saw a similar Valentine Banner and totally fell in love with it. I've been meaning to put mine together for weeks, but couldn't quite find the right materials I wanted.

At last, I found everything I wanted and sat down to put it together.

I'm so thrilled with how it turned out. I'm actually going to hang it over my mirror in the entryway. I hung it on my mantle for better lighting for the pictures.

Valentine's Day Sign

I wanted to make something cute to hang on my door. I found a sign I like and decided to re-create it for my own door. LOVE IT!
